The Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department provides comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation for patients afflicted with cancers arising in the head and neck, such as:

• Oral cancer (including gums and tongue)
• Throat cancer, also known as cancer of the pharynx or pharangeal cancer
• Voicebox cancer, also known as cancer of the larynx or laryngeal cancer
• Sinus cancer
• Salivary gland cancer

Head and neck cancer affects critical functions such as speaking, swallowing and eating, as well as physical appearance.
